Volaire is a realm of rich ancestry, forgotten pacts, and deeply rooted mysticism. Below is a list of all available player races, divided by access type. Some are open to all, while others must be unlocked through approval or in-play discovery.

These races are available to all players during character creation.
Human β Versatile and unrestricted.
Beastkin β Animalistic humanoids; excellent survivalists.
Dwarf β Hardy miners with a penchant for crafting.
High Elf β Elegant and magical, but fragile.
Half-Orc β Tough and talented with toxins.
Half-Ogre β Massive strength, low intellect.
π Limited Races
Limited races are rare in the world of Volaire and may only be played with current availability.
Pixie β Small, dangerous fey with powerful rages.
Wild Elf β Nature-bound traditionalists who reject magic.
Haltija β Death-touched lorekeepers of the undead.
Faerie β Elemental spirits of whimsy and power.

β Restricted Races
Restricted races require advanced roleplay and staff approval. Not available for first-time characters.
Chaos Fae β Unstable fey infused with every element at once.
Drow β Cursed deep elves with dark powers and darker pasts.
Ramtovi β Nomadic mystics bound by cultural honor.
Half-Celestial β Guardians of planar balance; harmed by silver.
Half-Fiend β Power-seekers tainted by darkness and vulnerable to light.
To request approval for a restricted race, you must first establish yourself through consistent roleplay and character growth.
