Ranger (Restricted)
Guardians of nature and preservers of balance, Rangers are attuned to the wild in ways others can’t comprehend. Like Knights, they follow a strict Code, but theirs is aligned with “The Law”—an in-world ethic that defines their spiritual and environmental duty.
🌿 Class Overview
- Combat Role: Nature Guardian / Skirmisher / Utility
- Magic Access: May purchase spell slots (XP cost equal to Knight)
- Armor Access: May wear up to 40 points of armor
- Health Gain: Gains 4 Health per level

🐾 Class Traits
Rangers automatically gain the following:
- Speak With Animals — at no cost
- At 10th level, gain Immunity to Natural Confining
- At 25th level, gain Nature’s Wrath — adds the “magic” tagline to weapon attacks:contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
They also have access to Tracking, Animal Empathy, Herbal Lore, Survival, and other nature-based skills at reduced or standard XP costs.
📜 Restrictions
- Must follow the code of ethics known as “The Law”
- Roleplay is mandatory—violation of “The Law” can lead to In-Play consequences
- Cannot begin play as a Ranger; must be earned during the game
🧭 Roleplay Suggestions
- Rangers may be stoic protectors, wise forestwalkers, or spiritual wilderness guides
- “The Law” is your compass—let it guide your choices, even when others don't understand them
- You may bond deeply with animals, fellow Rangers, or druidic forces—but may remain distant from cities and politics
