Short white hair, bright blue eyes, and the kind of warm, unhurried presence that makes people feel immediately at ease. He wears light-colored robes trimmed in gold. He is almost always somewhere he is needed rather than somewhere he is expected, and almost never without Kalil.

Crown Prince of the Ariadnian Empire and its legitimate heir. Connor is a gifted Light Mage and Healer who has become an increasingly visible presence in Volaire and the surrounding lands, working alongside the Guild of Light to address the ongoing food shortage. He is known for giving his time directly — not from a throne room, but walking among the people.

He is the son of Lilith, the Emotion Queen whose reign of terror ended roughly forty years ago. Connor is her opposite in nearly every way: quietly devoted to his people, gentle in his dealings, and apparently uninterested in the power that is already his by name. Those with eyes for these things note that his healing is unusually effective, and that there is something about his presence that is difficult to place.

He recently married King Kalil Na'sey of the Draconian Empire, a union that formally binds two kingdoms that have quietly supported one another for generations. The King of Ariad, Vlastimir, continues to hold the throne in trust until Connor comes of age.
