High Elf

Graceful, ancient, and deeply attuned to the arcane, High Elves are the inheritors of a magical legacy etched into their very blood. Their lives are long, their memories longer, and their expectations often impossible. To be a High Elf is to walk in a world that never quite lives up to your standards.

🌍 Lore

High Elves claim descent from the eldest spellweavers, once rulers of glittering cities now lost to time and ruin. Though their empires have crumbled, their traditions persist—etched into scroll, sigil, and ceremony.

They view magic as sacred, structured, and beautiful. Artistry and intellect are paramount, and even their warriors approach combat with the precision of practiced choreography.

In a world unraveling at the seams, High Elves often see themselves as reluctant stewards of civilization—carrying the burdens of lost perfection in a world of fading light.

⚔️ Racial Traits

Advantages:

  • +1 Max Mana
  • +1 to all Ritual Magic and Spellcraft attempts
  • May detect magical fields or active enchantments with focused concentration (RP-based)

Disadvantages:

  • -1 Max HP
  • Physically fragile – cannot use Medium or Heavy armor
  • Roleplay required: prideful, methodical, slow to trust “lesser” races

🎭 Roleplay Notes

  • High Elves are poised, measured, and often emotionally distant.
  • They dislike chaos, messiness, and improvisation.
  • Even among allies, they may default to condescension or exasperated patience.
  • Their disdain for brute strength and reckless behavior can cause friction.

🎨 Costuming Requirements

  • Elven ears are mandatory and must be visible at all times.
  • Clean, elegant attire in rich or regal tones (silver, gold, white, blue, etc.)
  • Costuming should imply nobility or ancient magic (robes, sashes, filigree, embroidery)
  • Hairstyles should be neat, braided, or adorned

  • Ritualists, Mages, and Arcane scholars
  • Players who enjoy elitist or diplomatic tension
  • Crafters of magical items and spell-based builds
  • Characters with long memories and even longer grudges

🧭 Tips for Playing a High Elf

  • Speak with formality and clarity; disdain slang or vulgarity.
  • Use your magic as an art form—rituals should feel like performances.
  • Let your pride be both your armor and your downfall.

Play a High Elf if you want to embody elegance, arcane mastery, and a trace of tragic superiority.
