New Character Leniency Policy


Creating a new character can be excitingโ€”but it can also take time to gather props, gear, and get a feel for your class. Volaire offers a leniency policy to help you transition into play smoothly and confidently.

This policy applies to every new character for their first four events.


๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Gameplay and Build Flexibility

You may realize after a session or two that your build or class doesnโ€™t quite fit the story you want to tell. Thatโ€™s okay!

Immersion is key to Volaire, but we understand it can take time to gather the required gear. For your first four events, the following leniency applies to critical phys-reps:

A lab physrep is normally required to use crafting skills. However:

All spellcasters must have a spellbook physrep to study spells between events.

Spellbooks may not be shared between characters.

To receive full armor value from your class abilities, you must wear appropriate armor physreps.
